What is a gold party?
A gold party is the only party where guests can make money instead of spending it! Similar to a typical home party, a host will invite their friends, family and other guests over to their location for the party. Each guest has the opportunity to bring all of their unwanted or broken gold jewelry to the party where it will be tested and evaluated. Colorado Gold Party uses state of the art electronic equipment to test all jewelry. After evaluation, each guest is paid on the spot! Colorado Gold Party gives away prizes such as diamond earrings, gift certificates and more!
How do I schedule a party?
You can fill out our Party Request Form or call our office at 702.448.6468. Our office manager will advise you of available dates and times and further information you will need.

How do you determine the price you pay?
Colorado Gold Party is a division of Valley Goldmine. Valley Goldmine has 6 locations in Arizona, Nevada and Colorado and is open for private appointments for individuals looking to sell jewelry. Valley Goldmine owns 2 jewelry stores located in Phoenix, Arizona. Since we buy in volume, we are able to pass the highest prices on to our customers. We are fully-licensed precious metal buyers. The gold market is based on 24k .999 pure gold. Jewelry is mixed with other alloys to make it - it is not pure gold. Most jewelry ranges from 41% to 58% actual gold. The higher the karat - ie; 10k, 14k, 18k, etc. the higher price you are paid because the gold content in the piece is higher.
I have jewelry with stones - how do these pieces work?
Denver Goldmine has 4 full time jewelers working at our stores. Any stones you would like back we will return them to you free of charge. Many instances stones can be removed at the party but some pieces may have stones that need to be removed by one of our Master Jewelers. You are more than welcome to pick them up at one of our stores or we will gladly send them to you free of charge!
How much money does the host make?
The host is paid a percent of the total amount purchased at the party. Contact us for additional details at 702.448.6468
If the host makes money for the party, does that mean guests are paid less?
Absolutely not. The host gets paid money for hosting the party. Nobody wants to lose money for hosting a party so their money goes to help offset the costs of putting on the party such as food, beverage, etc. Guests are paid the same whether they come to a party or a private appointment.
Do you require a certain amount of guests to book a party?
No. Colorado Gold Party does not have a minimum guest requirement. However, based on costs associated with the party we encourage hosts to try to bring at least 8 guests.
I have my own home party business selling other products - will do you a party with me?
Absolutely. We do many “combo” parties with many home party distributors. There are certain guidelines in place to do these. Please contact us for additional details.
